Do you want to make use of your leadership skills, and at the same time develop our operation both in day-to-day work and strategic perspective? The Store Operation covers the physical handling of the parts; goods receiving and dispatch (picking, packing and loading).The department employs 90 people working in two shifts.The operation environment is highly automated, to support the speedy execution of deliveries required by our customers.In Store Operations we have experienced operational managers/team leaders (your direct reports), and your task is to together with them secure timely and correct deliveries on a daily basis.However your main focus is to develop the operations in speed, productivity and quality.In this it is important to understand your role in the supply chain and efficiently co-operate with other departments and units in the chain. As Manager Store Operations you have both direct and indirect personnel reporting to you and your own budget for material and personnel.In this position you also negotiate with the union, with support from HR.We are looking for an individual with excellent leadership capabilities including people development and change oriented approach, combined with strategic ability and business awareness.A strong candidate can efficiently convert and communicate ideas into measurable operational improvements. You have attained a Master degree in Engineering in combination with some years of leadership including both development of teams and individuals.Experience in material handling and/or production management is needed, where you have gained experience from process oriented work.Practical knowledge of using quality tools as Lean, Six Sigma, WCM or similar is merited.
