Supplier Quality aims at delivering to our company an indisputable industry leadership especially in the eyes of our customers. In partnership with our suppliers, we shall lead systematic improvement activities and drive a quality mindset through the Capital Equipment supply chain and beyond.

Within Supplier Quality, you will contribute to leading DSO Capital Equipment towards its short and long term goals, taking and contributing to key decisions, towards the Tetra Pak 2020 strategy.

The position is based in Lund, Sweden. The candidate is expected to travel 50% of the working time


Main responsibilities

-Continuously develop individuals and teams for the present and future needs of the organisation, developing a high performance team with high focus on long term capability development;
-Plan and control the Supplier Quality department budget and expenses and prioritize team members activities and allocates resources;
-Secure and implement standardised methodologies and tools to guarantee quality within our supply chain. Develop and continuously improve a systematic approach/process for Parts and Commodities Validation Processes and Issue Resolution to ensure Customer Satisfaction
-Secure Quality in supplier selection for both current and future projects
-Support DSO CE Production units to assure Filling Machine and Distribution machine Quality leading quality issue eradication at supplier site and drive a networking approach/process with key stakeholders of Production and Supplier Management
-Promote WCM continuous improvement and zero defect mindset, leading by example and driving change management when needed, in order to achieve a World Class organization; Sponsor, support and be an active member of the Quality Pillar


Qualifications

You've gained working experience that includes managing suppliers and you have a deeper knowledge and understanding about quality assurance and quality control system. Likely you own experience in working with World Class Manufacturing or other continuous improvement systems. Experience of people management is a plus. You have a technical background (university degree in Engineering or similar) and you are proficient in English, both written and spoken.

To be successful in this position you need to be a strong leader, able to influence and engage colleagues, teams and organizations. You have a solid and structured approach which allows you to cope with changes and to set priorities properly, in combination with a strong drive for results. Working with individuals and teams on different organizational levels is for you highly motivating. You are able to take challenges and work under pressure.
