Manager, Support Fulfillment Unit, Helpdesk, IKEA IT Delivery

The purpose of Support Fulfillment Unit is to support end-users, solve incidents and fulfil requests. The unit will do this by providing Helpdesk with the right competence and capacity at the right time based on a plan from the Plan & Operate Unit. This unit will consist of approximately 200 co-workers, with the far majority being Support Analysts.

Assignment
In your position as Manager within Support Fulfillment you will take an active part in leading the organisation and reports to the Unit Manager for Support Fulfillment. We want YOU who want to take responsibility and grow with the task to support & develop IKEA. We focus on our users and business and view technology as a mean.

You will lead the organization by being a good example and execute and deliver results through our values. You will attract, develop, and inspire team members by realizing the IKEA Human Resource Idea. You will create an environment where the IKEA Culture is a strong and living reality that embraces diversity of co-workers.

In this role you will lead a number of Team Managers by challenging and supporting them. You will work closely with the leadership team for the unit and contribute to the success of the new IT Service Desk by having various assignments on a global level.

To be successful in this role you have a good and wide knowledge about IT organization, strategies, processes and working methods. You have good knowledge and experience of working with change and communication. You understand implement strategies, the effects of change and the different needs people have in a change process.

It is crucial that you are good in creating and keeping good relations and that you are goal and result oriented. You have the ability to express opinions, information and key points of an argument clearly. You enjoy improving our ways of working, implement global methods and routines and seek new opportunities to give even more efficient support to our users. It is a benefit if you have experience from steering a global Helpdesk organisation before. Cooperating with others is seen as something natural and part of your daily work.

We put great emphasis on your personal qualities and want you who take your own initiatives to make things happen, you don?t give up easily. As a person you are open to new ideas and not afraid to try them out. Of course you are fluent in English, speaking as well as in writing.
We are open to the geographical location where the position will be located; however you have to work from any of the existing Helpdesk sites (Älmhult, Helsingborg, Wallau, Dortmund, Paris, Warsaw, Philadelphia, Bakersfield and Shanghai).
