Carton Economy is responsible for the development and engineering of a product portfolio, with the strategic intention of enabling Tetra Pak to build new costumer and consumer base in the developing and emerging markets with low purchase power.In this respect the product portfolio needs to meet the value chain demands on products produced in simple and robust equipment with a low cost profile targeted to reach mass markets.

Carton Economy is one of the growth engines of the Tetra Pak group and has enjoyed a double digit growth during the last 5 years thanks to effective product innovation and deployment.

The Manager of System Automation reports to the Director of System Engineering, Carton Economy.The position is a permanent member of the management team in System Engineering, and is based in Lund.

The key tasks and responsibilities are to:
Identify the key automation challenges to secure that the solution will meet its requirements
Take the product requirements and architectural solutions that describe the new product and define how automation supports the required features and functionality
Recommend key experiments required to reveal line/systems issues early
Work with project managers and relevant line staff to ensure that product development projects are planned from an automation
Maintain a strong working knowledge of the automation hardware and code base, it's structure, levels of modularity and the associated complexity of development/risk
Support project managers by providing an accurate estimate of automation development complexity on a feature/functionality basis
Maintain and manage build and release for projects and lead during product integration
Decide the automation development strategy
Participate in System Design Review Meting



Kvalifikationer
The successful candidate has an academic degree in Engineering/Science or equal knowledge.Further you have documented experience in leading a team with technical background and experience in automation competencies.You have also experience in developing industrial products as well as of process orientation and from performance in a complex environment.As a person you have excellent leadership capabilities with personal presence.You are analytical, straight forward as well as a team player with dynamic, cultural adaptability and are result driven.
