Manager System Design Mission System

Your role

As a manager for System Design Mission System, you will be over all responsible for the team in terms of projects deliveries, budget, employee wellbeing, strategic development and resource and competence planning.



You will lead and coach a group of 12 experienced technical leaders towards common strategic goals, and develop common tools and adopt processes, such as the Integrated Product Creation (IPC), to support and facilitate their work.You will promote creativity, new ideas, business thinking and cooperation.

The main tasks are:

Develop and care for your employees
*

Interact with base program and customer projects to match their needs
*

Responsibility for personnel and budget within your team
*

Defining and driving both short and long-term goals
*

Drive cost estimation work together with base program
*

Work with and evolve System Engineering



You will also be part of the System Design and Integration and Verification Leadership Team. You will have your own individual area of responsibility including close cooperation with the other groups within the BU AEW, as well as with the Engineering and the Marketing and Sales departments. The leadership team works closely together and each member contributes with his or her individual experiences and strengths.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

Mission System and C2 has global responsibility for Saab's Airborne Early Warning and Command (AEW&C) Systems including other ISR solutions. It has offices around the world, with the largest site being Gothenburg (SE).



Mission System and C2 has around 115 employees, whereof 40 is working at System Design.
