The role
We are searching for a System Verification Manager to lead the testing of the next generation of smart and connected heat pumps. This role is critical in ensuring that our hardware and software components work seamlessly together with the best performance, as well as fulfilling both European and national requirements. You will collaborate closely with our software and hardware development teams, overseeing the functionality and system testing of our heat pump products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, leadership experience, and a passion for driving innovation in the energy sector.
Main tasks
Testing Strategy: Define and implement robust testing methodologies to assess system performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Planning and Facilitation: Organize and facilitate third-party tests, ensuring that external testing aligns with our quality assurance objectives.
Documentation and Reporting: Develop test plans, protocols, and reports, providing clear insights into system performance and any identified issues.
Continuous Improvement: Advocate for best practices in testing and validation, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance processes and drive innovation within the team.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all testing meets European and national regulatory requirements, keeping abreast of relevant standards and guidelines. Planning and collaboration with third party test institutes.
Team Leadership: Recruit, lead, and manage a team of validation and system test engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, software and hardware development teams, and laboratory staff to ensure comprehensive testing and validation processes.
We think you have
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent related experience acquired by experience.
5+ years of experience in defining test methods and performing functional testing, tuning, and analysis in various test environments.
Proven track record of successfully delivering robust testing methodologies to assess system performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards
Supportive leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Passion for sustainable energy solutions and innovative technologies.
Good knowledge of English, both written and oral
