Systems Engineering is part of our drive to create better products in a shorter time, and create more value for our customers.We create methods to build Engineering knowledge that our developers can use to understand and meet the needs of our customers.As Manager, Systems Design you will manage and build a team of people who will jointly with the Project Manager own the full systems perspective, interacting with all subsystems owners.An important part of the teams role is leading (coaching, facilitating and coordinating) our development project managers, project members and engineering line managers.
In this role you will:
- Form and manage the Systems Design team within Development & Engineering, Packaging Material
- Be responsible for establishing technical management (requirements, solutions & verification) of systems throughout the system lifecycle
- Lead System Design activities in context of development projects
- Develop Systems Engineering line capabilities
- Develop Systems Engineering team competences
- Manage system performance & cost status tracking (regular & activity milestones)
Kvalifikationer
To be successful in this role you have a managerial and senior experience from working with mechatronic product development of complex systems in sectors such as automotive, rail, aerospace or process industry that has provided you with a broad systems requirement, solutions and validation understanding.You should have experience from organisational change programs, and 'customer' contact.Your educational background includes a university degree in Engineering or equivalent and you are fluent in spoken and written English.
As a person you are intellectually curious and possess great listening, documenting and communication skills which you have used successfully on all levels, especially with management.You have the ability to see the integrated picture without losing the fine detail.We need a strong team player and team leader who can manage change leadership and has a strong continous improvment attitude.You should also have a personal drive and the ability to operate with uncertainty and complexity.
