Experienced HRBP Lead for the role of
Manager Talent & Organization
You lead a team of HRBP’s and HR specialists; network and draw on support from other specialist functions within the group. You’ll be supporting our Head of People & Culture, as well as dedicated departments within the organization during our scale-up phase, and then evolve yourself and your team with the needs of the business.
We are spread across Europe to 7 different markets (SE, DE, BE, NL, ES, IT, FR), your team is physically in Sweden, Spain and the Netherlands.
This role is based in Gothenburg, reporting to the Head of People and Culture.
What you'll do on a daily basis
While walking to the first meeting of the day with the HR leadership team to discuss a new process, you come across one of the department managers you assist with, and just like that, by having a casual conversation, you solve an issue of salary level they have been wondering about, and at the same time, you get the chance to remind the same manager about some overdue approvals.
During the HRLT meeting, not only do you discuss the new process, but you find yourself volunteering in a project with Benefits & Compensation. And your input regarding some internal training is highly welcomed by Projects & Learning. The great conversation about an "Inclusion Promotion Event" with our D&I Manager gets you all pumped up to be able to be part of something like that. Also "off the record", during the meeting you agree on some deadlines with the Head of HR tech regarding an IT tool implementation coming up.
By the time of lunch, you have had one official meeting in your schedule, but you have solved and participated in decision-making with several different parties. Without saying your job is about networking! And talking. And keeping yourself updated. That's about it. So to keep this JD short, let's not imagine what might happen during the rest of the 8 hours or so you spend at the office.
So you will be the go-to person for a lot of people, especially for your own team members reporting to you. They might need your expertise in some Swedish specifics; or how to handle a delicate issue with an employee; or them just needing someone to lend an ear due to some personal matters. Whatever it is, you're so happy to have established a good trusting relationship with your team so that they also trust you with their "secrets", and that you know micromanagement skills are not needed with your bunch of people.
What you should have
- Experience leading a multicultural HR team (preferably within a high-growth international environment)
- Excellent understanding of employment laws, HR processes, systems, and practice. Specifically in Swedish labor law as you will act as the expert
- Knowledge of any of the other 6 market specifics will be seen as a benefit
In the application phase below, we hope you'd list some of the subjective requirements you meet and need in this role - tell us how you'd be as a team member!
