At Energy Industries you will be a member of the Sales management team and have responsibility to further develop the group of technical, enthusiastic, and competent technical advisers and bid managers. Our target is to deliver the industry’s most competitive offers with a strong value to the market. You will work closely with the sales team and together develop the bid process even further. We act on a growing market, and we want to serve our customer at an early stage with FEED-studies and develop concepts that are value creating for our customer base.
This position reports to
Marketing & Sales Manager
Your responsibilities
Develop and strengthen the group towards technical advisory and early engagement with our customers
Secure that the team delivers competitive, high-quality tenders to end customers
Secure and support an efficient bid/no bid process and focus on project which correlates to the strategy and strengths of Energy Industries
Oversee the preparation of proposals through internal and external resources and ensure all proposals follow relevant ABB procedures and guidelines as well as legal requirements
Ensure support to the Sales organization during the technical meetings, Solution/system and product presentations and negotiations with customers and provide technical support and clarification if needed
Guidance of the commercial and risk awareness in the tender phase
Close cooperation with Operation department to secure deliverable quotations
Strive for team excellence and efficiency in line with the ABB Way operation model
Your background
A relevant university degree or equivalent skills
Financial skills and an interest of technology and customer requirements
Several years' experience of Bid Management roles, preferably in a global setting
Several years' of Manager experience will be preferred
You have a good knowledge of risk management, T&C's and contract set up
Good collaboration and communications skills
Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken, is a must
