Your role and responsibilities


As the manager for the Development Pipelines team, you will play a crucial role to create and drive our Development Process and Tooling Strategy within Nasdaq. You will work with a team of six (6) seasoned professionals based in Stockholm and Ume within Development Tooling. You and the teams mission is to drive the current agile transformation at Nasdaq by providing brilliant processes and tools for managing source code, build pipelines, and development infrastructure. To be successful in the adoption of tools and processes you need to thrive in an environment where you have to actively champion your processes and tools to drive global usage and support. By doing this you will significantly affect Nasdaqs journey to rewrite tomorrow.


Other responsibilities:


Your key focus area will be developing and managing the Development Pipelines team
You will be designing and creating the strategies and systems for how we best support Nasdaqs external and internal clients.
You will be essential in Nasdaqs journey towards agile development processes and cloud adoption


What you will bring


Passion along with experience in driving development efficiency through championing automation, agile processes, and modern tools usage within a large organization with a diverse set of languages and development methods.
A strong inner drive to continuously modernize, implement, and evangelize to drive adoption of advanced development pipelines that enable engineers to continue to be awesome.
Excellent leadership, social, communication, and organizational skills as you will build global relationships with executives, leaders, and engineers across geographies, time zones, and cultures.
A degree in Computer Science or related field
Several years of relevant experience + Leadership experience


It would be great if you have


Financial industry knowledge
Knowledge in agile development methods and how to best support them
Experience with running development critical infrastructure in Public Cloud
