HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.
You will be part of a strong and committed team of professionals within HVDC Service in Ludvika. Our department delivers SCM (station control and monitoring) and Cybers security in HVDC Service upgrades globally.

Your responsibilities
We offer you the chance to be a part of a committed team in our new department, Service T5 that operates in the forefront of technology.
Lead and take ownership of developing the team’s work processes
Guide, motivate and support a skilled team of SCM/Cyber security system integration engineers in the daily work, as well as creating a compelling vision ahead.
The work includes entails occasional trips globally and you will collaborate with development engineers, designers, and customers in Sweden and abroad.

Your background
As a person you have a passion for people and technology, are clear in decision making and have the right inner drive to take on full responsibility for your scope and deliver on time in a dynamic environment.
Strong technical background within SCM implementation.
You are a genuine team player that seeks and enjoys collaboration with peers and partners and sense of group dynamic are always present.
Experience from managing people is highly qualifying and so is experience in industrial projects and knowledge of industrial control systems.
You hold a university degree in preferably a suitable technology field or have work experience from similar roles.
Proficient in English since you will be part of an international setting where you will get to exchange knowledge with people from all over the world.
Willingness to travel.
