As Manager Tooling design you will lead the Tools Development team, which is part of our Industrialization organization. The organization is currently under revision which means that You will have a great to form its way of working. You will lead and develop the organization towards our business short- and long term objectives, in close co-operation within the Industrialization organization and the Engineering department as a whole, and also other departments of the BU Aerospace Systems, as well as other BU:s and departments within the Saab Aeronautics business area. You are a team-player who actively contribute in the Engineering Management Team. You will report to the Head of Indistrialization.

We develop, industrialize and manufacture aircraft structures for the civilian and military markets. Aerospace systems is responsible for the development, industrialization, manufacturing and technical support of flying structures, including systems for the business unit's external customers such as Airbus, Boeing and RUAG. The Business Unit is responsible for the partnership, execution and further development of the Boeing-Saab T-7A trainer.

For the successful execution of the role as Manager Tools Development within BU Aerospace Systems, the following personal capabilities should be expected:

M Sc or B Sc degree in mechanical engineering

Technical experience in the field of structural technologies design and development

solid skills in the English and Swedish language, oral and written

You have respect and understanding for the company's proud history within aerospace engineering, and also understand the need for continuous change and development.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
