Managing Director Trelleborg Mixing Forsheda AB
Our current Managing Director has decided to pursue new challenges outside Trelleborg and therefore we are now recruiting his replacement as Product Area Director and Managing Director for Trelleborg Mixing Forsheda AB. Trelleborg Mixing Forsheda AB is a Product Area within Trelleborg Seals & Profiles. We develop and mixes rubber compounds to internal and external customers. We have approximately 70 employees and a turnover of 300 MSEK.
We are looking for a Managing Director who can generate a profitable growth and together with the local management team oversee all business operations, people and ventures.
The goal is to ensure that the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic direction.
Your main responsibilities
The size of the company means that you will have a wide area of ​​responsibility. The work provides both operational and strategic tasks. You are expected to work on realizing the goals developed and work with the focus areas set out in the company's business plan. You have the formal responsibility that is part of the MD role and will report to the Business unit President. You will provide strategic advice to the Business Unit so that they will have an accurate view of the market and the company’s future.
Further on you will oversee and be responsible for the company’s financial performance, investments, and other business ventures. You delegate responsibilities and motivate your team to reach performance in World Class.
Together with your management team you will continuously improve both the organization and the business. The MD of Mixing will report to the President of the Business Unit for Seals & Profiles and will be a member of the Business Unit Management Team. The position is located in Forsheda, Sweden, and the role requires a willingness for business trips, mainly within Europe.
Background and characteristics
Your responsibility is broad. To be successful in the role you need a good understanding in finance and a thorough experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably from a related area with deep knowledge from the process industry, combined with a high interest in sales and marketing. Work experience from an international and strong intercultural work environment is a benefit.

You basically have a good analytical ability, a high level of energy, drive and with a clear leadership you engage and motivate for change.
We believe that you have an academic education, master's engineer, university engineer or equivalent. You speak / write both English and Swedish fluently.
