IMC is the global in-house agency for the IKEA brand. We make the content that inspires people to make a better everyday life. We’re responsible for planning and developing communication for all IKEA markets across the world – from the global IKEA website to local ad campaigns. What is also making us special compared to many others is that we have our own production with studios for all types of media.

Now we are looking for a leader for IMC.
Through your values driven leadership you will:
Secure, together with your team and business partners, that IKEA strategies and business priorities within the area of communication, are being led and executed in a characteristic, IKEA cost efficient way.
Define, plan, procure, develop, supply and sell high quality marketing communication, solutions and services based on assignment granted by IISBV (Inter IKEA Systems B.V.)
As a leader, you are overall accountable for driving the leadership and competence agenda, with a focus on talent and competence management and succession planning. You are acting as an ambassador and role model for IKEA Culture & Values.
Being manager for the unit in Älmhult, ensuring that IMC is efficiently organized, securing a good working environment and legal compliance in all dimensions.
Build and maintain trustful relations, with internal and external stakeholders, to be a preferred business partner and to be a good example in business leadership.
As a Managing Director for IMC you will be legal responsible for the unit and report to Henrik Elm (Operations Manager, Group Functions). In the business dimension you will work close to Fredrika Inger, Manager for IKEA Range.
Qualifications
You have the ability to lead others, both leaders and co-workers. Through clear communication you create strong and trustful networks as well as relationships close to you but also in a remote context. You are known to inspire through your positive energy and by your stakeholder management you are able to influence through complex structures. You see the potential in both business and people, and you have a strong desire to develop others and the courage to believe in people's unleashed potential.
Furthermore, we believe you have/are:
Vast experience in working on strategic/tactical level and good knowledge of the IKEA strategic landscape and the IKEA Business model.
Ability to lead business with a holistic view. Always act with the customer, co-worker, business partners and total IKEA interests in mind.
Senior experience within IKEA, preferably with a strong commercial background
Proven record in stakeholder management, strong interest, and drive to find common interests and agenda and ability to build trustful relations.
Proven ability with leading in change and organizational development.
Ability to lead business through people on a senior level by demonstrating strong leadership capabilities, good coaching skills and strong communication skills.
