Delivery Hero seeks a dynamic Managing Director (MD) to lead and expand its business in Sweden. As the driving force behind the company's success in this market, the MD will focus on growing the core food delivery business while developing innovative new revenue streams to elevate the organization to its next level of performance.
The MD will have P&L responsibility and oversee all key business functions, with leaders of these departments directly reporting to them. They will establish effective strategies, tools, and processes to enhance the experience of customers, restaurant partners, couriers, and other stakeholders. This role requires both strategic leadership, hands-on management and a m,arket eternal perspective to navigate the evolving food delivery landscape.
Key Responsibilities
P&L Leadership: Drive business performance with full ownership of profit and loss metrics for the market.


Strategic Growth: Develop and execute strategies to scale the core business while building complementary revenue streams.


Operational Excellence: Optimize tools, processes, and guidelines to ensure a seamless and efficient operation across all functions.


Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, restaurant partners, couriers, and other key stakeholders.


Team Leadership: Lead a diverse, high-performing team across multiple business functions, fostering collaboration and innovation.


Collaboration: Work effectively within a matrix organization, aligning regional teams with the company’s strategic goals.


Adaptability: Lead the organization through operational, cultural, and strategic transformations in a competitive environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a visionary and entrepreneurial leader with extensive experience in scaling consumer internet businesses. They must have a proven track record of managing P&L and driving sustainable growth in fast-paced, competitive markets.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Demonstrated success in managing and scaling a consumer-facing, technology-led business.


Proven P&L management expertise and history of growing high-value consumer businesses.


Experience leading organizations through strategic, operational, and cultural transformations.


Knowledge of on-demand business models is a strong advantage.


Background in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnership development, or market entry strategy is highly desirable.


Experience with digital marketing and customer acquisition strategies in high-growth businesses.


Leadership & Management:
Exceptional team leader and people manager with a collaborative mindset.


Skilled in fostering high performance and driving innovation in matrix organizations.


Track record of recruiting, mentoring, and retaining top talent in competitive markets.
