About us


The Nasdaq Listings team is responsible for all the listed companies on Nasdaq Stockholm, Nasdaq Copenhagen, and Nasdaq Helsinki for both the First North and Main Market for each respective market. In addition, the team is responsible for all the new companies looking to list in each respective market. This entails engaging with companies, investors, owners, and advisors to ensure we position our listings offering in the best possible way. Beyond the listing's activity, there is a consistent roadmap of business development to further develop and enhance our offering.


Currently, the team consists of a team of 20 team members covering IPO directors, relationship management, marketing, and sales & operational support.


What you will do


The Managing Director is a key role to fuel the growth of our company. To be successful, you’ll need to be passionate about our business, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and know-how to empower a successful team.


Nasdaq is seeking an upbeat sales professional for a field-based IPO Director position. This position is responsible for the execution of the sales strategy for IPOs and relationship management with a main focus on the Swedish market. This is accomplished by using a relationship-based, consultative selling approach crafted to help issuers implement successful listings on Nasdaq.


The IPO Director will be responsible for the development of each territory’s strategic plan, forming relationships with private companies across sectors, developing effective proposals, and supporting companies through their initial public offering.


Lead all aspects of the strategic direction of Nasdaq’s new listings and relationship management efforts in Sweden.


Produce and lead pipeline reports for executive management


Participate in meetings and pitches to win new business


Devise and implement regional strategies for the Swedish market


Understand prospective issuer's initiatives and needs and accurately articulate the Nasdaq value proposition


Coordinate internal resources to engage with prospective issuers


Identify and drive business development initiatives.


Manage the dialog and the relationships with our listed companies.








Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:




A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent


5-10 years of sales and business development experience with a proven track record of over-achievement


Proven success in a team-selling and business development environment


Experience selling to and building relationships with the C-Suite


Ability to build, maintain, and effectively manage a sales team


Strong presentation skills and public speaking experience


Understanding of capital markets, investor relations, and the process of going public


Effective networking, communication, and presentation skills


Strong planning and research skills with great attention to detail


Strong English is spoken and presentation skills


Additional Nordic languages would be of interest
