About the role
Atos Medical is looking to appoint a new Managing Director for the Nordic business (Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland) to take the team of around 15 people on the next stage of their journey.
Having focused its efforts on the launching a new product portfolio for the laryngectomy side of business and recently launching the sale of Tracheostomy products within the region we expect the business to continue its story of strong growth during 22/23.
The new MD will continue to pursue the Direct to Patient strategy while keeping and further investing in a strong relationship with the clinical community, including hospitals. They will focus on strengthening the alignment of departments (especially between outside sales and customer care) to ensure a strong & successful collaboration for the benefit of the customers.
This position is a key member of the Region Europe North/South within Atos Medical’s international Sales structure and holds great growth potential for the right individual. Furthermore, it will be a high profile and very rewarding role, there will also be a large degree of ownership for building and executing the local plan within the Nordic region.
About you
• Substantial medical device experience within Nordic region gained within a commercial role
• Experience of some direct patient contact/sales within CV
• Able to commute to Hyllie, Malmo, regularly and be visible presence in all 4 countries in region
• Strong Leadership: Leads first line employees in an inspiring and engaging way, ensuring short term performance focus and long-term results.
• Strong team player, who can attract, motivate and develop people in a competitive environment.
Key Competencies we are looking for
• Selling and negotiating: Secures existing business and gain and develop new business; negotiate sales to achieve win-win solution according to agreed strategy; checks for understanding, anticipates responses and addresses any questions positively.
• Build relationships: Builds and can maintain relationships with external stakeholders as well as internal teams.
• Analysis and problem solving: Solves problems independently; breaks complex issues into manageable parts and organises in a systematic approach; recommends a solution to a problem and communicates steps to resolve the problem.
• Customer management: Understands the structure of the customer’s business and builds a comprehensive network of contacts within each account; networking skills within the industry and appropriate customers/suppliers; develops business/partnership plans with customer’s; monitors customer satisfaction levels and acts upon the results to improve service levels across the business.
