We are looking for a Managing Director to play an important role in the continuous development of RC Hiss.

RC Hiss was founded in 1977 as a family business and is since 2016 a part of Nordic Lift which in turn is a fully owned subsidiary of TK Elevator. RC Hiss provides services within installation, modernization and service of elevators and escalators with offices in Skövde, Trollhättan, Alingsås, Borås, Varberg and Halmstad, operating in the entire western part of Sweden.

Duties and Job responsibilities
As the MD for RC Hiss you will be responsible for building, creating result and securing qualitative operations. You are expected to be a visible leader who works close to the operations and act as a bridge between TKE and RC Hiss.
Your responsibility includes the entire RC Hiss organization and it’s operations; sales, finance, HR, larger tenders etc.
RC Hiss operates as an independent company with central support from TKE in areas such as HR, Finance and Administration.
You are expected to be a humble leader with the ability to communicate effectively within RC Hiss and TKE, build trust and be visible in the organization. You should have the experience to work with change management and collaboration and the ability to read the market and competitors. Tracking the company’s sales/order intake and ensuring the correct reporting into TKE is of importance. You might get involved in larger tenders. Health and safety is a core value of TKE and RC Hiss and the MD is expected to be a role model to put health & safety as a first priority.
Build, Results, Effective and Qualitative operations will be your keywords.
TKE is a KPI driven organization and as the MD for RC Hiss you are expected to continuously measure relevant KPIs and follow up and report on the outcome of your initiatives.
As the MD for RC Hiss you report directly to the CEO for TKE Sweden & Nordics. You will collaborate mainly with TKE’s other subsidiaries in Sweden and the TKE Sweden organization but also within the entire TKE organization.
Your main responsibilities include:
Follow and lead the day-to-day operations of RC Hiss.
Working with large tenders and sales.
Supporting the management team and the entire RC Hiss organization.
Develop and increase efficiency within the company.
Find synergies between RC Hiss and the TKE group.
Ensuring full compliance with the health and safety standards of TKE.
About you
You have an academic degree in a relevant field as well as +5 years of experience as an MD or a manager of a larger Business Unit. Additionally, you bring experience from the elevator market or similar markets, experience from product/service organizations and strong sales skills. You have experience from a managerial position and good written and spoken knowledge of Swedish and English.
It is beneficial if you also have:
Experience from a large international organization.
Experience from leading geographically spread organizations.
