Managing Director to Resinex

YOU WILL

Due to the pending retirement of Resinex´s current Managing Director we are now looking for a replacement. Your focus will be to lead and continue to gain market share for this well establish business within the plastic distribution sector. You will be located at their headquarters in Jönköping, having full P/L responsibility and managing the complete Nordic team (SWE, FIN, NOR and DK). As the Managing Director you will have strategic responsibility over the business as well as being operational; involved in sales activities, meeting customers and suppliers. You will have full HR responsibility over your team of 18 individuals and report directly to the Regional Manager based in the UK

Other responsibilities:


• Representing the company externally and internally
• Maintaining and growing the relationship with your counterparts at Resinex in Europe and with the Parent company Ravago
• Staying up to date with market trends and innovations
• Managing and implementing the Resinex 2025 Strategy in the Nordic
• Managing market activities and initiate projects

YOU ARE

We are looking for a business minded person with a commercial background and ideally experience of distribution. Being a people person and enjoying coaching others is equally as important in order to be successful in the role. We think this person is result driven and has experience of working in a technical environment as well as having an international outlook. It will be an advantage if you have experience of the plastic industry or have worked in a similar industry; chemical, elastomer/rubber or composite.

Other profile requirements:


• Relevant academic background or equivalent working experience
• A high caliber person that can be a great representative for the company
• A “can-do-attitude” with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure, priorities accordingly and to have a strong sense of accountability
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Swedish
• Strong IT literacy
