The role will be a part of the MBO & Sustainability Management team and the Program team. This position is based at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will contribute to the manufacturing business strategy and provide expert input on business plans. As part of the Program team, you will have the mandate to represent Manufacturing in decisions while at the same time being a part of the Service level agreement team.

Additionally, you will lead:

- Discussions for all incoming requests regarding investigations of manufacturing consequences
- The Service Request and contract work from Polestar suppliers
- Benchmark investigations regarding cost levels and offers from suppliers and stakeholders
- MBO task in car project early phase until Program Start (PS) ~ Program Confirmation (PC) gate, target setting/manufacturing (MFG) prerequisites, etc.

Also, you have strong organizational skills can easily adapt in both formal and informal situations.

Further on, we are searching for you with:

- Deep knowledge and at least 5 years experience in Manufacturing
- Knowledge from car manufacturing is an advantage
- Experience in a managerial position(s)
- Strategy- and business expertise
- BSc in Engineering or similar education
