We’re now looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Production team – someone with social skills to act as the “spider in the net” creating cohesion and improved cooperation.
Your mission
In this position, you will contribute to the success of our Binder Jet Additive Manufacturing Production Line. The site is located at the AM Services facility in Sandviken, Sweden. As a Manufacturing Engineer you focus on improvements in productivity, quality and costs of production and drive product development projects from development to serial production. You collaborate with stakeholders and represent the production team in customer meetings and development projects.
You perform hands-on support in our production and provide guidance to operators and technicians. As you take on responsibility for production planning, you ensure that schedules are met of the assigned production process. You also revise existing- and implement new processes as well as keeping track of our production KPI´s.
The location for this position is on site in Sandviken, Sweden. Some travel may occur, around 2-4 weeks per year.
Your character
We’re looking for a motivated person with experience from working in a production environment and knowledge in lean manufacturing methods. This is backed up by a technical university degree. Experience in additive manufacturing, particular Binder Jetting, is advantageous as is experience with green body processes, powder metallurgy and sintering. Working experience from gated processes and standards such as ISO9100 and AS9001 processes is beneficial. As we’re a global organization you’re fluent in English both verbally and in writing, while knowledge in Swedish is a plus.
You’re curious to acquire higher-level knowledge to broaden your skills. Using standard procedures and technical experience you analyze possible solutions and solve a range of problems while receiving a moderate level of guidance and direction. You understand key business drivers and use them to accomplish your work. By using your communicative skills, you translate a customer demand into our production. You are a hands-on person that feels comfortable taking over production tasks and equipment responsibility.
