Manufacturing Engineer

Northvolt is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team in Västerås.
As a Manufacturing Engineer you will:
Participate in or drive projects, investigations, and actions with the purpose to solve problems and increase
Improve efficiency in manufacturing. Participate in solving quality problems. Participate in or lead implementations of
Work with new equipment. Develop training material and train staff in lean manufacturing principles and methods, SOP and WI.



Key Responisibilities include (but are not limited to):
Responsible for coordination of Electrode production improvement, recipes design and assess and analyze manufacturing and suggest actions to improve efficiency.
Drive actions or projects to improve efficiency in manufacturing
Establish work measurement programs and analyse work samples to develop labour utilization standards.
Ensure all steps of production run smoothly and efficiently
Develop standard work principles and ensure high level of understanding and implementation, e.g., SOPs/Wis, processes, one-point lessons etc.
Participate in or drive problem solving workshops or actions
Develop and deploy workload model
Responsible for the cost saving activities in the defined area
Participate in or drive projects for new equipment.
