Manufacturing Engineer

Main Responsibility
• Lead and coordinates manufacturing process activities in PD within responsibility area.
• Describe and visualises assembly methods and issue PII:s (Process and Inspection Instruction) in TCe(virtual builds) and PPA(physical builds).
• Develops efficient (man hour & layout) and ergonomic work methods. Update of local manufacturing engineering systems and inputs to steering system for production control.
• Plans in detail, specifies functions and needs for equipment in cooperation with Tooling.
• Identifies needs of new error proofing/quality assurance 'systems' or update existing.
• Reporting status and deviations in decided systems / tools and ensure that there are actions plans to reach target.


Competence Requirements
• Technical competence at senior high school / university level or similar.
• Minimum 3 years work experience within automotive
• Practical experience of the production process.
• English in spoken and written.
• Knowledge of virtual verification and 3D-tool
• Knowledge of FMEA
