Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer on behalf of our client.
In this role, you will play a vital part in the Manufacturing Engineering Casting and Stamping organization. Your primary responsibilities will include designing new High Pressure Die Casting Lines, machining lines, and facilities. You will specify and layout new equipment, die casting lines, and machining lines, while also supporting product development efforts.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will report to the Area Leader and serve as the ME stakeholder in product projects, ensuring the successful launch of new products within your assigned area. This involves communicating and verifying ME requirements, conducting product feasibility studies, and providing constructive feedback to the department.
Responsibilities
Act as the ME representative in Product Engineering meetings.
Support product interface deliveries for the project.
Manage assigned items in the Team Backlog(s).
Update the Area Leader on project deliveries.
Participate in necessary risk analyses, FMEAs, and document lessons learned.
Facilitate the project handover to the plant.
Drive assigned tasks toward agreed manufacturing targets.
Provide status updates to the Area Leader regarding IE#/Gateway/Milestone.
Actively network and collaborate with other manufacturing engineers to enhance commonality, workflows, and professional development.
Support RFQ preparation within your area of responsibility.
Participate in design review meetings with suppliers.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in product development roles.
Familiarity with CNC machining.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
