Manufacturing Engineer Commodity paint - Surface treatment

Do you have good knowledge about sealings and production processes from the manufacturing industry? Experis Engineering is looking to hire a manufacturing engineer within surface treatment for a 6 months assignment starting as soon as possible.

Job description
In this role you will work mainly with the development and implementation of quality-assured, flexible and effective production systems in Body, Paint and Final Assembly plants. Your task is to ensure a process-driven product development by driving forward and coordinating Manufacturing Engineering activities in design and product development, with focus on production-effective product solutions.

Lead the cross technical product and production manufacturing work, as well as represent manufacturing during prepare and implementation phase. This means to ensure the product and process feedback to Research & Development (R&D) in order to fulfil the "six manufacturing attributes" (quality, man hours, cost efficiency, environment, flexibility and change over).

* Represent Manufacturing Engineering as well as the plants towards respective DPL (subproject manager) within ME and Product Development within responsible area
* Issues PII (Process and Inspection Instruction)
* Analyze and verify the manufacturing requirements during and after physical builds
* Participate and support in analyses of problems in running production when needed (3:rd line analysis)

The overall purpose to the role is to:
* Assure flawless introduction of car programs into the plants
* Upon request, support Core or IE.
* Continuously strive for commonality within the company

Qualifications
* Technical competence at senior high school/university level
* Practical experience of the production process
* English in spoken and written
* Basic computer skills
* Bodydesign competence is a bonus
* Process & product knowledge in the area of sealing/NVH is a bonus
