What's in it for you?
As a Geometry Assurance Analyst (GAA) you will be working during the complete car program, from early phase to implementation in the plant. You will be a part of our Megacasting engineering team and will contribute to the creation of the Geometry Systems for Product and Manufacturing processes in both foundry and machining shop.

You will lead, drive, analyze and report geometry deviations to solution within your geometry area. Your task will be also to coordinate and drive a "geometry team" during program launches. Contributing to the geometry work in early stages within new vehicle programs and securing the geometry performance of the product and the capability of production areas will be within your scope as well.

Do you fit the profile?
We believe you:
•    Have Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering degree or corresponding professional experience.
•    Are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious qualifications are:
•    Experience from geometry work and good knowledge of geometry systems and from casted structural parts.
•    Good practical and theoretical knowledge about Volvo product development process.
•    Experience and knowledge about geometry assurance work at external and/or internal suppliers and tuning of casted parts.
•    Specific knowledge: Team centre, CM4D (geometry-follow-up program), understanding and using the geometry simulation tool RD&T (Robust Design and Tolerance).
