Your new challenge

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be deeply involved in our customer projects, from the beginning to the start of production. You will contribute in contract reviews and concept design, establish production processes and verify process stability. You will have full personnel responsibility for two employees. This position also requires some travels to our factory in Poland and suppliers in other countries.

You are expected to:

- Develop future production processes based on decided KPI's.
- Develop technical requirements specifications
- Initiate and make risk assessments before introducing new equipment.
- Take part in trial-runs and put new or developed products into production.

You will report to our Head of Customer Projects.

Your profile

We expect you to be a dedicated team player with a can-do attitude. You should be quality focused, reliable, accountable and able to deliver on time. You need to be agile and encourage new ways of looking at challenges, processes and solutions. You should also have good social skills and excellent communication skills in order to summarize, clarify and visualize information. In your way of working you are prestige-less, helpful and enjoy solving problems.

Preferable, you will have a degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent by experience. You have a very good understanding of planning and production processes combined with experience in project management. Experience of industrial environments and technical aspects of production and production equipment is a requirement, as well as Lean management tools and frameworks. Since we work in an international environment, you are fluent in English, both in speech and writing. A background within automotive industry and heat exchanger technology is highly meritorious. It is also a plus if you have leadership experience with personnel responsibilities.

About our company

Setrab designs and manufactures customised aluminium radiators and heat exchangers. We supply many of the world's premium car brands, e.g. Audi, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW, Jaguar Land Rover, McLaren, and Mercedes. At our headquarter in Malmö we have a staff of 50 employees focusing on customer project development, quality management, purchasing and production management. We have a production plant in Karlino, Poland, where most of our manufacturing takes place, with a staff of 60 employees.

We are part of Yinlun, a Chinese listed company with 7 000 employees in China, Europe, and the US. Yinlun's objective is to become one of the top global suppliers of engine and transmission cooling products to the automotive and commercial vehicle industries. To support this plan Yinlun will significantly expand its product development and manufacturing footprint in Europe in the coming years.
