Manufacturing Engineer – this is what you’ll do
Within Manufacturing Engineering, we are now looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who will lead the cross technical product and process manufacturing work. You will represent Manufacturing Engineering during the preparation and implementing phase within the Vehicle Motions and Climate  area, with global strategic responsibility. It is also within your role to ensure product and process feedback to Product & Creation (P&C) in order to fulfil the manufacturing attributes: quality, man hours, cost efficiency, environment, change over and flexibility.

At Manufacturing Engineering, you are the owner of assembly method over time by developing, defining and preparing each system the whole life cycle. This means you are responsible for verification of assembly solutions, both virtual and physical, and you will always strive for commonality within all our plants.

We are looking for a committed, positive and pro-active engineer who is passionate about cars. 
The right candidate is an analytical and target-oriented person with an open-mind attitude. Thanks to your excellent communication skills you can create strong and trustful relationships. You like to work both in teams as well as on your own.
We are looking for a candidate with previous experience from production processes and product development, preferably from automotive. Geometrical knowledge as well as experience of FMEA and DFA methods are meritorious. In addition to experience your personality will be of outmost importance.

Qualifications:
Your background is from technical university, or higher technical college or similar. You have knowledge about 6 Sigma and Lean Production as well as good understanding of the software we are using (Catia V5 or Teamcenter) and you are fluent in both Swedish and English.
