Role Summary/Purpose:

Responsible for leading and developing the Manufacturing & Test Engineering team
Responsibilities include initiating new processes and methods that will improve safety, reduce product cost and/or product quality
Ensure documentation and support associated with safety, manufacturing and quality methods, tooling and equipment.
Energize employees and encourage employee involvement to drive change and engagement
Create understanding and enthusiasm in team for better customer satisfaction

Essential Responsibilities:

Partner with the key stakeholders and drive continuous improvement of our processes to ensure on-time, complete and compliant deliveries to our customers.
Responsible for the team staff with salary revisions, recruitment and development.
Work and execute towards the factory goals and objectives.
Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions, overseeing successful implementation into production (NPI, Modified and transfer projects).
Participate in new product introductions through process layout, tool development, and new equipment to secure that production demands is fulfilled.
Ensure regulatory compliance through Validation & Verification.
Work with Production Associates to resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design in running production. Promote Root Cause Analysis.
Develop new process and workstation designs to reduce cycle time and support the lean manufacturing initiative.
Lead/participate in Lean AWO (Action Work-Out) activities, driving LEAN manufacturing implementation.
Troubleshoot production and packaging equipment.
Specify and expedite planned maintenance routines on all production equipment and systems
Develop new and existing production tools and databases.
Lead Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals. EHS responsible for team (Environment, Health and Safety).
Provide safe processes that comply with all local and federal regulations. Assure that corrective action is taken to resolve observed safety concerns in all areas.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Master degree within engineering, or similar and/or proven years of experience from manufacturing industry working with engineering.
Previous leadership/MPL experience in a manufacturing/services/operations environment.
Proven capability to drive and accelerate change across an organization.
Must be comfortable at working in an environment of ongoing change management continuous improvement of business processes and to drive the ongoing delivery of results for the organization.
Excellent team facilitation skills and business acumen competencies.
Excellent communication, team building and energizing skills.
Swedish and English both verbal and written.
EU work permit.

Desired Characteristics:

Clear thinker, external focus with inclusive leader capabilities and strong employee development skills.
High level of integrity is needed.
LEAN manufacturing experience, comfortable with tools and methods.
Production test & test equipment development.
Six Sigma experience, Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Understanding or experience from Life sciences customers, needs and applications is a plus.
