We are now looking for two Manufacturing Engineer's with passion for production and continuous improvements. You will be part of a new team, and take part in developing the ways of working for this role. To establish how to optimize the interaction and build strong relations with adjoining areas in Tetra Pak such as product development, sourcing, and internal production will also be critical for this role.
Total Quality Supplier Management is responsible for driving quality with our capital equipment suppliers in the value chain. We do that by establishing a strong feedback loop to our suppliers; ensuring systematic corrective actions are taken on current problems, and work proactively with our suppliers' quality development to deliver towards our long-term quality ambition.
In your role you will be part of the driving force to secure that Tetra Pak's capital equipment are produced in an efficient and effective way at our suppliers while striving for total quality. You will be working with securing the quality of parts/modules from our suppliers, by assessing the quality planning of their production processes and products including quality methodology (audits, risk analyses, process control) as well as evaluating production flows and production capacity.
In detail this position will also be responsible to:
Lead development of Supplier Quality Audit process and also the Supplier Quality Audits to assess their organisational approach to Total Quality Management
Lead Quality Impact "Crisis Management" towards our suppliers
Lead a Tetra Pak standardised approach to Quality at our Module Suppliers
Lead the Customer Awareness towards our suppliers
Participate in actions against Customer Claims, Supplier Non-Conformities and Customer Satisfaction feedback to ensure a systematic approach and root cause eradication
Participate in developing Continuous Improvement methods and tools through WCM methodology.
Participate in Supplier Selection for both current and future projects by supporting the relevant Supply Manager
Kvalifikationer
The successful candidate ideally has an academic degree, probably a MSc and 5 years experience from production or manufacturing. Together with this you possess solid knowledge and experience of quality management and World Class Manufacturing or other recognised Continuous Improvement tools
The person we are looking for has strong communication ability and can work across organisational lines using interpersonal skills. Additionally she/he needs to take an analytical and systematic approach when dealing with quality aspects and problem solving. A successful candidate should be able to facilitate issues in a large multi-discipline team to find resolution.
The job will involve travelling and working in multinational environment. As a result it is a prerequisite that you have a good command of English. Knowledge of other languages is meriting.
