Manufacturing Execution System Engineer

On our client's behalf, we are looking for a Manufacturing Execution System Engineer with focus on MES IT infrastructure topics. Your tasks include the support of daily operations, the management of system related projects and the implementation of the resulting changes.

This is a consultant assignment starting 2018-11-01, and for three months forward but with good chances of extension.

The Job:

As part of our global MES team you will pro-actively work with individuals and cross functional teams to define and support MES requirements and operations. You will support and manage projects striving for deeper integration of the current MES solution with production and automation systems.

You are responsible for implementation all changes to the Production environment and ensure proper Change Management policies are followed.

Other tasks that also will be included:

* Maintain site-specific systems and solution documentation
* Collaboration with local IT departments and business units
* Available for on call support

What we expect:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer Science or similar
* Deep knowledge and solid experience of MES systems
* Profound knowledge in MS Operation systems and Oracle DB
* Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, IP and Virtualization
* Experience of ERP interfacing (e.g. SAP)
