You are welcome to join our Technology, Experience and Data (TED) team as our next Manufacturing Operations Solution Engineer.

This is what you will do
As a Solution Engineer, you'll join our team in the central Supply Chain & Sourcing Product Area, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our business runs smoothly by resolving complex issues related to IT supply chain & sourcing. You'll focus specifically on manufacturing operations, using your expertise to troubleshoot and develop innovative solutions that will keep our operations running efficiently.
You’ll also be a key member of the MTD team, working collaboratively within an Agile framework to develop cutting-edge solutions delivered through the "Polaris" programme and other strategic business initiatives, shaping the future of Nobia. "Polaris" is bringing our ways of working together across Nobia by developing a set of end-to-end IT solutions. It will allow us to fully embrace digitization in all that we do, replace outdated systems, increase efficiency through automation.
You will also:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues that arise in the production environment, and identifying areas where processes can be improved, making recommendations for improvement
• Working closely with product owners and solution architects to conceptualise, design, build and deploy future solutions that meet the needs of the business
• Becoming a subject matter expert for the Nobia MOM solutions, providing guidance and advice on potential solutions
• Maintaining the manufacturing operations systems, associated SQL databases, and up-to-date and accurate source control for the MOM's solution code
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and processes, ensuring that they are up-to-date and easily accessible
• Conducting R&D activities and keeping up-to-date with the latest technology trends to stay ahead of the curve
• Assisting in various testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
You have the:
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in SQL Server and MES solution
•
• • Knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL programming language
• Ability to understand and analyze complex business processes
• • Knowledge of manufacturing industry and supply chain & sourcing processes
• Ability to maintain and improve existing MES solution and associated SQL Server databases
• • Knowledge of database design and management
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience working in a similar role within the manufacturing industry for a minimum of two years, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to MES solutions, SQL Server, and other relevant technologies.
