The SKF Group Future Factory team in Gothenburg is the central team for navigating SKF manufacturing trough the digital transformation. To strengthen our competence in the field of Industry 4.0 we are looking for a
Manufacturing Process Engineer
As an manufacturing process engineer you will be a team member when it comes to creating business values in manufacturing process and engineering. The job includes designing and execution of projects in co-operation with the different factories and clusters within SKF . On top of this drive the acceleration of bridging digital and physical with one core platform of information driving data reuse and accuracy to increase data driven manufacturing. Together with the rest of the team, work with change management for friction less roll-out. All this in close collaboration with IT, IOT and MPD.
Job responsibilities
Partner with domain experts in global project teams to identify project related questions, key metrics, and actionable insights.
Responsible to drive standardization and the way of working within the MPM platform.
Participate as Subject Matter Expert in IT projects and run initiatives.
Support in solution verification and validation activities.
Responsible to act on identified gaps in solution.
Share cross Product Lines (PL) learnings about technical process requirements/documentation/verification.
Manage the application change process by reviewing business requirements from a technology perspective.
Support the operational stability of applications.
Job Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering or similar knowledge acquired outside university.
Good knowledge and experience in PLM systems, preferably Teamcenter and Windchill.
Experience working with manufacturing process and engineering data.
Ability working with manufacturing master data, data structure and data classification to make it searchable and retrievable within specified timeframes.
Experience to set up a project and work in a international environment.
Familiar with requirement management and verification planning.
Broad technical understanding & hands on experience
Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing
It would be beneficial if you also have experience from working with customer relations, CAD, working with design and drawings in different formats and experience with different simulations e.g. process, flow and cost.
