Your team

Operations IT ensures that the Information and Systems needs of the Global Operations functions are delivered appropriately by the Global IT function. You will be part of Global Factory Operations and will represent Manufacturing business processes and requirements across several AstraZeneca SAP landscapes around the world. Your team will be located across the globe and you will be located in the biggest production site in AstraZeneca, Snäckviken and Gärtuna. You will work collaboratively with other Business Analysts and Solution Architects to ensure that designs are truly end-to-end and that user requirements are considered in the design. You will report directly to the Lead Manufacturing SAP Business Analyst within Global Factory Operations IT.



Your role

Your role will be varied and flexible with projects, programmes, and business-as-usual, including key project deliverables. You will support the business and project teams in the creation of sufficiently detailed, clear, and realistic business requirements aligned to agreed global business processes and, ideally, SAP and IT standards. You will also assure that requirements are testable and incorporated into user acceptance and end-to-end integration testing with the business.



We would like you to possess broad functional knowledge in your domain (Manufacturing) and good functional knowledge in the Finance & Controlling modules within ERP systems (SAP). We would like you to possess good leadership behaviours and proactive approach to problem solving. You will take a leadership role for Operations IT on major SAP change programs to lead other SAP business analysts and represent the requirements and change impacts for Manufacturing.





Minimum experience and requirements

* University degree or equivalent working experience
* Some years of relevant ERP (SAP) functional experience in the IT industry
* ITIL processes and Application life cycle management
* Excellent command of written and spoken English and Swedish
* Strong customer relationship management skills at all levels
* In-depth functional understanding of Manufacturing/Production activities and processes
* At least some knowledge of SAP Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Quality Management (QM) modules and interaction with Manufacturing and non-SAP systems



Preferred experience and requirements

* Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences/pharmaceutical domain
* Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
* Some project management experience is especially helpful

* Change Management Lead to support Stakeholder Analysis and relevant change management activities, training, and communications
* Business Stakeholders to ensure that solutions fulfill their future strategic needs and challenges
* Business Process Owners, particularly for Manufacturing Execution, to identify and devise solutions that optimize business process performance and be the IT point of contact
* Business customers to identify business requirements and effectively communicate impact, cost, and benefits of new and changing demands
* IT Architecture, Delivery, and Support to ensure clear understanding of requirements and effective IT testing so that the solutions delivered to the business are efficient and effective, meeting the customer experience expectations
