Manufacturing Simulation Engineer

We are now looking for an experienced Manufacturing Simulation Engineer for our client (Volvo Cars).

The role is a major provider of information to support manufacturing engineering team in process development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science Production Engineering or Systems, preferably Master of Science

- Industrial or academic experience in CAE/robotic simulation tools

- Experience or knowledge about joining methods used in Body in White processes

- Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Today our main tools are Process Simulate, Process Designer, Manufacturing Process Planner, NX Line designer, CATIA V5, AutoCAD. Skills in Ergo simulation and balancing tools are highly valued.

- Handle and enjoy working with several 3D IT tools

- Enthusiastic in optimizing the manufacturing system and car body by using simulation

- Team player

- Structured

- With good analytical skills

- Flexible and able to manage complexity

- Driven and self-motivated

- Having a positive mindset

- With excellent communication skills

- Open to occasional travelling.

The position will require to work onsite at our office in Torslanda.

We are also preferably looking for a female candidate to increase the diversity in our team.
