Join our Manufacturing Talent Programme

Then, you might be interested in this opportunity that Novo Nordisk Kalundborg is trying to combine in a brand-new Manufacturing Talent Programme.

This is the first program of its type! Its goal is to help you grow both horizontally (broadly) and vertically (deeply) inside the pharmaceutical API production industry. We're seeking a diverse background of applicants within Science, Engineering, IT & Automation and Robotics.

As a teaser, our API Manufacturing Hubs in Biotech City Kalundborg and Clayton, North Carolina, manufacture all of Novo Nordisk's well-known insulin products as well as cutting-edge revolutionary GLP-1 compounds. Our API Manufacturing Hub is a dynamic complex that includes numerous existing, ever-expanding buildings as well as several Future projects that use cutting-edge technology.

What is the Manufacturing Talent Program about?

In general, we aim to improve our existing production facilities by implementing process improvements, new technology, advanced data analytics, or a mix of the three.. To achieve this now and in the future, we need team players like you who are energetic, motivated, and innovative!

You will have the opportunity to rotate across our different manufacturing sites plus be exposed to specialised functions like how we develop our processes etc. The rotations will consist of 6-8 months for a total program length of 2 years.

What would be the key responsibilities?

No rotation will be the same. The first rotation will consist of manufacturing process exposure. Key learnings: what is pharmaceutical manufacturing? How are unit-operations connected to drive value? What is the connection between industry 4.0 and pharmaceutical manufacturing? The second rotation will consist of data analytics exposure. Key learnings: what is industry 4.0 in the pharmaceutical industry? What tools are state-of-the-art for pharmaceutical manufacturing analytics? How to apply advance data analytics to drive value? The third rotation will be either within it/automations, robotics, Manufacturing Development, or within construction of green field manufacturing facilities. One of your rotations could be at our API Manufacturing Hubs in North Carolina, Clayton.

Qualifications

To apply for the Manufacturing Talent Programme you have to meet the following criteria:

-A recent bachelor or master's degree (from 2021 or 2022) within the following key educations: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering (with a focus in Automation or Robotics), IT & Automation, Biotechnology, Chemistry
-Academic achievements that are above average
-An appetite for tackling complex problems
-Have a global perspective and be internationally mobile
-Fluency in spoken and written English

-19-22 April: First interviews via Teams
-22 April: Selected candidates gets invited for the Assessment Camp in Denmark
-9-11 May: Assessment Camp
-12 May: Candidates for second interview will be invited including test links
-16-17 May: Second interviews including test feedback via Teams
-September 2022: starting point
