Marine Claims Adjuster/Jurist, Gothenburg, Sweden
 
Wesmans’ Marine Claims Team act as commercial correspondents for all leading P&I and H&M underwriters, we also handle a variety of cargo, cargo liability, and port claims for various national and international underwriters and clients. 
 
Our business is growing, and we are now looking for an additional member to our skilled Marine Claims Team, to be based in Gothenburg, Sweden, mainly with cargo, carriers’ liability and port liability claims. 
 
Skills and capabilities: 
-          Experience and professional knowledge handling marine claims and the legal framework surrounding these areas,
-          A law degree is preferable, but experience in claims handling may suffice,
-          Accurate and effective claims handling skills,
-          Service minded,
-          Structured and efficient as a person and with good administrative skills,
-          Excellent collaborative skills (team player),
-          Fluent in Swedish and clear communication and language skills in English, both orally and in writing. 
 
Key responsibilities:
-          Handle cargo and cargo liability claims
-          Maintain a high service level towards our clients and their customers,
-          Register claims in our systems and promptly update the systems with correct information,
-          Be a good team player and assisting co-workers when necessary.
-          Some marketing will be required and client meetings.
 
Start: As soon as possible/after agreement.
Working hours: Weekdays, full time. 
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden (however, applicants based in other parts of Sweden might also be considered).
