Manpower Professional Engineering AS is a leading Norwegian company specialising in consultancy services, hiring/placement and project recruitment of technical expertise.We provide multidiscipline engineering and project management services and have around 450 consultants contracted to our customers.We cover the entire Nordic market, with 10 regional offices in Norway as well as partners in Sweden and Denmark.JOB DESCRIPTION The engineering Process Manager is expected to implement systems relative to requirements gathering, project management, process management/improvement and training (if necessary) of engineering application and processes.The role requires experience in CAD/PDM/ERP/PLM systems and large scale IT software delivery/deployment processes.This role is also expected to contribute to the organisation in strategic planning for Engineering Processes and Tools JOB SPECIFICATION .Provides technical expertise to the Engineering team on emerging technologies that enable engineering process improvement and productivity..Define the requirements and manage the development, testing and implementation of engineering software packages to manage and improve existing capabilities..Perform feasibility studies and time and cost estimates to assess the features and functionality of proposed engineering solutions..Lead the specialist Interest Group (SIG) efforts with Engineering Super Users to improve, where possible, the portfolio of R&D/Engineering processes/applications..Provide guidance to the development of engineering standards and the updating of product data descriptions/attributes to meet these standards..Manage the PDM deployment and maintenance within the organisation.PERSON SPECIFICATION .You have proven experience in the successful implementation and / or management of Product oriented Data Management systems, including the development of network and data architectures, execution scripts and software interfaces..You are analytical and are able to solve difficult problems with effective solutions..You demonstrate enthusiasm, self-motivation and clear communication in order to deliver objectives and be a leader in change management..Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English..You have successfully managed projects with geographically dispersed locations and teams.The role will be located within the Nordics and require extensive travel and engagement across cultural boundaries.The home location will be left to the individual but is expected to be at a Scandinavian transport hub.It is very important to provide an on-site presence at all Nordic facilities.WE OFFER: Competative salary conditions!Following the contract hire period the right person may be offered a permanent position, either with our client or with Manpower Professional Engineering.Work location: Oslo, Norway.INTERESTED?Please apply via our webpage www.manpowerprofessional.no.Apply for job no.
