The Strategy & Innovation team is responsible for strategy and innovation covering all parts of Customer Solutions. The purpose is to ensure that E.ON works with strategy and innovation in a way that supports our goals and the future company value. This by ensuring state-of-the-art processes, working on specific projects and creating collaborations with stakeholders both internally and externally.

About the position
As our Market & Business Analyst you will perform research and analysis work, in close cooperation with the E.ON business units and your colleagues at Strategy & Innovation. The focus of your work will be the systematic gathering of information and analysis of competitor profiles, new market entrants` strategies, competing offers, market trends, long-term customer behavioral changes and providing insights into specific market segments. You will assess new developments in a wide range of areas, e.g. electricity, heat, energy- and mobility solutions. The purpose is to create valuable market insights, helping E.ON to effectively develop its business and to reach it`s ambition for market leadership.
You will work with both systematic market monitoring and reporting as well as on-demand reports. This entails doing research on a wide variety of energy related topics, analyzing and drawing conclusions in relation to our business challenges and strategic direction. It is also about communication of the results and action orientation. A good analysis will not only bring insights, but will also be practically useful and add measurable value to reach E.ONs market ambition in customer solutions.
This position is a great opportunity to gain extensive, unique, knowledge and understanding of the energy sector – also through interaction with colleagues in the Strategy & Innovation team. This provides a solid foundation also for a long-term career development within the E.ON Group.

The position is located in Malmö.

We are looking for
To thrive and succeed in the role we believe you have a relevant educational background in economics, statistics or as an engineer. You have previous experience working in a similar position with both qualitative and quantitative data analysis. You also speak and write in fluent Swedish and English. As a person, we believe that you are analytical, structured and unpretentious. It is important that you are communicative and enjoy presenting results both orally and in writing. Since you are the only person with this role, it is important that you are independent and like driving your work forward.
