Polestar is now looking for a customer-centric star with great coordination, communication, and leadership skills who will become a part of our electric journey within the Global Customer Care team. The focus in this role will be on establishing care centers in new markets either with outsourcers or in-house and, supporting the transfer of existing outsourced care centers to an in-house setup.
Let us describe the challenge we offer
Our Global Customer Care team is growing, therefore we now offer an opportunity for you to join us in the role of Market Development Lead. The team is responsible for being a reliable and proactive point of contact towards our global markets dealing with our customers as well as third parties representing Polestar, and ensuring that they get the help and information needed through various channels. It also supports market activities to achieve Polestar Customer Care business objectives and customer satisfaction targets.
This position is located at our HQ, in Gothenburg. We understand that work-life balance isn’t easy, and of course, welcome our employees to work flexible hours and from home a couple of days per week if needed. We believe in empowerment. This role will involve some travel to visit the global care centers.
What you’ll do
The Market Development Lead role has two key areas of focus. Firstly, establishing care centers in new markets either outsourcers or in-house. Secondly, supporting the transfer of existing outsourced care centers to an in-house setup.
Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the new market Customer Care Centres are set up in time, with clear processes and training documented. In this role, you will report to Strategy & Service Development Manager. You will be in charge of planning and leading projects to set up Customer Care for new Polestar markets as well as planning and leading projects to transition operations from outsourcing to in-house.
For example, you will:
- Support in shaping the Customer Care strategy for new markets
- Lead market expansion & establishment for Customer Care
- Take the lead on RFQ processes for new markets
- Co-ordinate and support in all necessary activities to set up a Care Centre
- Define the Customer Care market development plan together with key stakeholders
Who you are
You are like improvement, changes and innovation. For you, it is all about collaboration and providing the highest level of service by utilizing your great relationship management and communication skills. You are easily up to speed with a fast-moving information flow and are good at keeping track of details. It is important that you are a structured problem solver with project management skills, and probably have an interest in the EV moment and (of course) sustainability.
To be a great fit for this position we believe you have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field
- You have 2+ years of relevant work-life experience, working as a Business Development Manager, Project Manager, or Management Consultant
- Previously worked with outsourcers and procurement
- Experience working within customer care, setting up customer care centers is meritorious
- Experience from working in international settings
Lastly, you are proficient in English and master verbal and written skills. Additional languages are an advantage. As Polestar is in a scale-up phase you are comfortable with multitasking and thrive by working in a fast-paced environment.
