Market Intelligence (MI) is the unique provider of vital information and insights on consumers, competitors and markets within Volvo Car Group.
MI guides and influences all major Volvo Car Group business decisions with its knowledge, conclusions and recommendations on consumers, competitors and markets.
We now seek a Market Intelligence Manager for the 40-cluster and the area of Quality and Customer Satisfaction.
The Market Intelligence department is a global organization and a part of Global Marketing. You will report to the MI Headquarter Team Manager, based in Gothenburg.
Main responsibilities
Represent Market Intelligence in the MSS 40-cluster teams
Work closely and integrated with the 40-cluster stakeholders within MSS and be their single point of contact to the Market Intelligence department
Secure all MI deliverables according to the VPDS process, from initial
Product definition to Launch of final car
Secure deliverables from Market Intelligence into the 40-cluster through own competence area or coordination of deliverables from the global MI team
Lead and develop the areas of Quality and Customer Satisfaction within Market Intelligence
Responsible for the databases in the Quality & Customer Satisfaction area, such as the J D Power studies and CEM
Represent MI in relevant fora and activities within the Quality &
Customer Satisfaction area.
Required qualifications
Master or equivalent university degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or Behavioral Sciences
Advanced knowledge and/or experience of customer research techniques and methodologies
Outstanding leadership qualities and project management skills and experience
Personal integrity
Broad cross-functional work experience
Excellent analytical (quantitative and qualitative) skills, to structure and analyze information and draw meaningful conclusions
Fluent in English written and spoken, other languages are an advantage
Personal qualifications
Customer focus and the ability to relate this to the business situation
A good knowledge of the Volvo products and the key competitors, as well as marketing experience
High business understanding & cross functional working style with a strategic mind-set
Excellent communication and cooperation skills with a holistic view
Strong analytical capability and ability to think conceptually, as well as apply in practice
Strong ability to organize multiple tasks, structure, plan and get
things done
Creative and innovative mind set
