As Market Intelligence Specialist you will be part of the global Vestas Marketing & Market Intelligence department covering and supporting the Vestas Northern Europe Sales Business Unit. The department is tightly integrated with the sales business unit which is responsible for the sales, installation and service of wind farms throughout the region, which covers United Kingdom and Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Poland and the Baltics.. As a Market Intelligence Specialist you will report to the Regional Marketing Director for Northern Europe.

Responsibilities:
As a Market Intelligence Specialist your main responsibility is to deliver best in class market intelligence support to Sales and Sales Management on markets, customers and competitors in Northern Europe. Analytical skills are a must and have to be based on a solid business understanding, and you have to be able to communicate your conclusions in a clear and sharp manner. Your main responsibilities will be:
Collect in a structured way intelligence on key drivers, barriers, and dynamics that impact our markets
Prepare market, customer and competitor analyses based on intel and data
Ensure that market research and similar analysis undertaken in Market Intelligence meets the highest methodological standards
Track order intake and prepare post deal analyses
Develop a clear data-based assessment on how customers and stakeholders view Vestas, including purchasing behaviors and business pipelines
Collect, analyze and share findings from Customer Surveys and market data to drive sales and marketing plans and segmented campaigns
Brief sales and sales management teams prior to customer meetings
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or energy-related field
Preferably 3+ years experience with market intelligence in an international business environment
Ability to translate business problems into a research approach, and to translate findings back into business answers
Advanced Excel and Power Point skills
Fluency in written and verbal English and a Scandinavian language
Knowledge of energy and wind industry is an advantage
