Market Intelligence & Strategy Analyst

We are looking for a Market Intelligence & Strategy Analyst who works collaboratively with the different Business Areas to track and analyse relevant market trends, market research and competitive intelligence to aid in informing the strategic decision-making of our organization.
In this role you will conduct statistical analysis and generate relevant market insights- and trend reports to support market intelligence for the Corporate Strategy & M&A function and the Executive Leadership Team.
Additionally you will ensure optimal utilisation and development of our new Market Intelligence platform.

Your responsibilities:
Analyse the global market and competitive environment and provide value adding insights that support strategic decisions.
Create and update comprehensive industry, competitor and customer models including market shares, growth projections and trends.
Drive the market and competitive intelligence component of strategic planning and proactively make recommendations concerning key intelligence items that require further considerations.
Work with internal business stakeholders to enhance our use of strategic analysis and market and competitor intelligence. Collaborate internally to ensure intelligence is shared with appropriate groups and individuals.
Secure Mölnlycke is working with the MI platform in the most optimal way and drive improvements where applicable.
Preparation of regular Market Intelligence reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly) as defined and agreed with the stakeholders.


Your profile:
MSc Industrial Engineering and Management or Bachelor in Economics
3-5 years of professional experience, preferably competitive market intelligence or business consulting
Systematic and structured approach to work
Ability digest large amounts of information
Problem solving and solid analytical skills driving to meet project endpoints
Strong communication skills to define approach to projects to ensure tracking to desired goals
Excellent stakeholders management skills
Able to operate within a team environment
