Market & Product Engineer - Saltus Geared Front Attachments

To meet the industry’s ever-increasing need for tightening inaccessible joints and sensors, Atlas Copco Industrial Technique has developed its own range of high-end front attachments under the brand name “Saltus”. Saltus products are designed for a wide multi-brand portfolio of industrial tools, used in various applications by customers worldwide within aerospace and automotive industries.


Job description / Mission
We are seeking a high potential person with a can-do attitude to be part of the Saltus GFA Competence Center. In this position you will be working with our Geared Front Attachments (GFA) in combination with our extensive range of assembly tools.


You will be part of the marketing team within the Saltus GFA Competence Center, and you will act as the main contact between the customer centers and the GFA Engineering team and the rest of the Product Company organization.


Main tasks include:
Become a product specialist for the GFA range.
Assisting our Customer Centers in creating suitable solutions for our end customers.
Determine and understand the customer needs and transferring this knowledge into the Engineering organization.
Take full responsibility to drive small projects, from the initial customer request to presenting the final solution.
Close collaboration with all of our Customer Centers and to equal extent, collaboration with the Engineering team.
Based on your market expertise, challenge the sales organization to propose Saltus solutions instead of competitor solutions.

You enjoy the daily interaction with our global partners, as well as extensive collaboration with internal functions such as Production, R&D, Logistics and Sourcing etc. You should have the ability drive new ideas into the organization. Your personality includes a “make-it-happen-attitude”. The person we are seeking has a background in engineering and experience from a customer center is a big merit. You probably hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, but your personal characteristics are of even more importance.
