Right now we are looking for a Market Specific Leader to our BA CHILI, who would like to achieve the wished position for Market Specific Range – Making IKEA truly market relevant supporting the core range and by that generate extraordinary growth and a great customer experience. By listening and understanding the need of the consumer on each market. Together with the retailer and the Range & Product team develop complementary and competitive market relevant range for each market.

As a Market Specific Leader you use requests and inputs from Retail, Range & Product teams (HFB), material and category areas and market trends in order to support the retailer in co-creating and securing a locally relevant offer and contributing with proven business possibilities to the global IKEA business. 

You are responsible for leading, growing and optimising the market specific potential in the HFB dimension and thereby contribute to create extraordinary growth and speed to market. You identify new potential business opportunities by working in close collaboration with the countries, market clusters and Range & Product teams. Opportunities that not only will create market specific growth but also will challenge and optimise the total development plan for the HFB portfolio.

You create alignment with Range & Product teams in the HFBs in order to ensure that the Market Specific Range will deliver complementary range and extra growth in relation to running range, and not act as competition.
Furthermore you will be responsible for:
Maintaining and refreshing the Market Specific Range, from a supply, quality and trend development perspective
Connecting markets in their needs and supporting the markets in identifying common needs and opportunities driving volume up and purchase price down

This role is full-time role and can be based in Malmo or Delft. At IKEA we believe that we’re better when we’re physically together for collaboration, dialogues, and conversations. Our approach is that we spend most of our time in the IKEA workplace and with the flexibility to work from home when relevant. 

In this role you will report to the Group Manager of Security Operations and Incident Response in Shared Data & Technology and work closely with Cybersecurity leaders across Inter IKEA Group to lead towards uniformity and commonality, contributing to the Inter IKEA security and privacy approach to secure IKEA in a connected value chain.
