The opportunity
As our Digital Marketing & Analytics department has grown with more talents, we are now looking for a manager for our four marketing analytics experts working with us today. The team’s purpose is to support company growth by turning data into insights through analysis, reporting, visualizations, and a data-driven way of working.
This leading role has a mixture of strategic and operational character, where you will be the driver in how to strategically work with your team and function going forward. You will be reporting to our Head of Media, Digital Marketing & Analytics.
This position is located at our headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.
The responsibilities
As the Marketing Analytics Manager you will, together with your team, be responsible for supporting the marketing organization with analysis and data to be able to make data-informed decisions. You will work with different methodologies, data sources and analytics tools to effectively measure and analyze the outcome of media spending and marketing activities. - Prioritize global and local initiatives related to the Marketing Analytics team.
- Set the strategic direction for data and analytics together with the Digital Marketing & Analytics management team.
- Help drive and own key initiatives such as the marketing KPI framework, target and budgeting input, as well as ensure we have an effective analytics tool stack.
- Support team members and other colleagues with senior support related to their ongoing marketing analytics activities.
- Hands-on involvement in various projects such as MMM studies, attribution, and other key initiatives.
The ideal candidate
We are looking for a natural leader who’s passionate and experienced within the field of marketing and analytics. Someone who can motivate a team to take shared responsibility of delivering quality, equally as self-being operational involved contributing to the overall delivery. To succeed in this role, we believe you are a problem solver with a positive mindset and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:
- At least five years of marketing-related analytics work.
- Documented experience of leading teams or people.
- Experience with evaluating marketing data through methodologies such as mixed media modeling, attribution, Incremental uplift testing, Creative testing, Brand trackers and/or other types of qualitative or quantitative data.
- Some hands-on experience with web analytics and BI platforms for data visualization and reporting is preferred.
- Knowledge of one or more media buying platforms such as Google Ads, DV360, Facebook, LinkedIn or others.
