Are you cooperative, strategic, and interested in the energy sector? We are now looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to support our Industrial Energy Solutions business segment.
Adven/Värmevärden is an energy group whose common journey towards becoming the leading actor within sustainable energy solutions started during 2020. Together our 520 employees supply sustainable district heating and geoenergy to several real estate types as well as steam, heating, cooling, and related infrastructure solutions to industries. With more than 50 years of experience within the energy sector the group today operates around 350 sites in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
During the fall Adven/Värmevärden will launch the new brand. Together with the MarCom team, you will be part of bringing it to life and making sure it supports our vision of becoming a leader in the energy transition.
About the role
In this role you will be responsible for planning the marketing and communication strategies and executing activities for the Industrial Energy Solutions business segment. We are partnering with industries and large properties across all Adven/Värmevärden’s markets to drive the energy transition. This means you will support teams across the Nordic and Baltic countries, as well as in the Netherlands. Tasks include:
- Strategic marketing and communications planning to support a fast-growing business segment
- Coordinate and execute internal and external marketing and communication activities (spanning from ABM campaign planning, SEM, email marketing, content creation and PR)
- Contribute to bringing the new brand to life (including implementation of physical assets as well as digital, website development, content creation and internal communication)
You will be part of Adven/Värmevärden’s MarCom team and report to SVP of Marketing & Communications. You work closely with your business segment, but also supporting other functions in the company such as project management and HR.
This is a substitute position during a parental leave for approximately one year. The starting date is mid-November.
This position is currently based in Stockholm, but other locations in Sweden can also be discussed. Alternating between office and remote work is possible, as daily work entails cross-border collaboration via Teams.

To succeed in this role
- You have at least 3 years of working experience within the marketing and communication field and a degree in marketing and communications or similar
- You are good at collaborating - and you like it! Experience from working with external agencies is beneficial.
- You are strategic and goal-oriented, while still getting a kick out of hands-on tasks
- You have the mindset of a structured doer
- You navigate easily in the digital environments, you know WordPress, email marketing, social media tools and basics about analytics to help you evaluate and develop
- You communicate fluently in Swedish and English
We also value knowledge in or experience from the energy field or experience from a similarly complex B2B business.
