Our Exciting Opportunity
As the Sponsorships and Donations Manager, you will have strategic and tactical responsibility for Ericsson’s overall sponsorship and donation management. The objectives in this position are to proceed with the right ones (aligned with strategy), require full effect (through activation) and to minimize legal and reputational risks. To succeed, it requires an excellent personal drive, an analytical and structured approach and the ability to engage and collaborate across organizational units.
The position is within the functional area of Group Function Marketing & Corporate Relations (GF M&C) and reports to the Head of M&C Intelligence and Strategy. The unit’s main responsibilities are strategy, intelligence and operations.
You will
Manage sponsorships and donations within the company, ensuring return on investments and fulfillment from both legal and compliance aspects
Govern, develop, and implement strategy, process, policy and directive
Govern the council (members are CMO/CCO and Chief Compliance Officer) and prepare Board decision material jointly with Legal function
Build awareness and communication plans for applicable functions in Group Functions/Business Areas/Market Areas around strategy and ways of working
Develop and secure an efficient request, approval and evaluation process.
Secure internal key partners’ input, understanding, support and contribution towards process implementations
Share standard methodologies for global spread and reproduction
Build quarterly and annual reports
To be successful in the role you must have
An university degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Communications and/or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of validated experience
Excellent skills in leading an area independently
Experience from working in an international team with senior management
Experience and/or good understanding of marketing & communications.
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
