Marketing Associate for Thermo-Calc Software

Thermo-Calc Software is seeking a marketing associate to join our growing Stockholm office. The ideal candidate has a background in marketing with either 3 years’ marketing experience or a degree in marketing or a related field, speaks and writes fluent English at a very high level and is highly motivated and able to work independently and with a team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in developing their marketing skills with a wide range of projects.

As a Marketing Associate you will...
be working on a variety of projects, some independently and some as part of a team. You will manage the company social media accounts, organize and manage marketing materials and work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute marketing initiatives. Furthermore, you will work on digital marketing campaigns and video tutorials and be responsible for:

- Producing marketing materials such as newsletters, blog posts, press releases, presentations, print ads, digital ads, video tutorials and more.
- Managing the company social media accounts.
- Conducting and analyzing customer satisfaction surveys.
- Conducting digital marketing campaigns and assisting in maintaining a marketing database.
- Assisting in maintaining the website, including content creation and SEO and accessibility improvements.
- Assisting in maintaining the company intranet.

For this role, you do not need a background in science, but it could be beneficial.

To be successful in this role you will need…
a relevant degree or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing. You have strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills and a high level of organization and attention to detail. You have an understanding of basic business and marketing concepts and are familiar with social media, social networking, email marketing and search engines. You also speak and write fluent English at a very high level.

It is beneficial if you have experience with…
- Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Automated marketing programs and/or CRM, especially HubSpot
- WordPress
- Digital marketing campaigns
- SEO and SEM
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio
- HTML or CSS
- Creating tutorial videos, or willingness to learn
