Customer & Loyalty is one of five business units within the Clas Ohlson Commercial division and is responsible for Customer and Loyalty vision and strategy, loyalty development and engagement and CRM. CRM and data driven analytics is a core competency in the modern retail landscape and critical to ensure continuous growth from our core customers, hence Clas Ohlson is now investing in our CRM capability. CRM at Clas Ohlson is responsible for omni-channel activation securing profitable and engaging one-to-one communication towards Clas Ohlson’s most loyal and profitable customers - our Club Clas members. The function is responsible for the end-to-end CRM operations - from strategy and planning to production, execution, day to day performance and optimization.
In this position, you are located at any of our offices in Insjön (Dalarna) or Stockholm, Sweden or Helsinki, Finland. You report to Head of Customer and Loyalty.
Responsibilities
As Marketing Automation and Campaign Specialist you are responsible for commercializing Clas Ohlson’s brand-, positioning-, seasonal- and always on priorities through campaigns, promotion plans and relevant tactical or brand building activations - always optimizing customer experience and securing business value creation. As a Marketing Automation and Campaign Specialist, key responsibilities and tasks include e.g.
- Initiate and implement targeted campaigns and activities end to end
- Produce and optimize scheduled (i.e. newsletters or similar activations) and automated CRM communication and campaigns in e-mail and sms channels for all markets based on customer- and market insights and business priorities
- Build and execute activities in Adobe Campaign (incl. segmentation of audiences, A/B testing, reporting)
- Be the function’s production process lead including e.g. develop guidelines and supporting processes and templates to secure an effective and efficient inhouse CRM operation (e.g. content, translation, imagery) within own and other teams
- Optimize and continuously improve production and execution process incl. develop and maintain e-mail templates and functions
- Work closely with other content- and creative stakeholders to secure 360 content sync
- Work closely with team in Customer and Loyalty processes such as Customer and Market Insights, CRM Planning and CRM and Insights reporting.
Requirements and qualifications
- Relevant academic degree (in Marketing or equivalent academic discipline)
- Language skills: English and Swedish, preferably also Finnish.
- Practical experience from the creative side of digital marketing e.g. copywriting, content creation, imagery, design in an omni-channel context
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Strong creative skills and mindset - ability to translate data into engaging and relevant content
- Operational business skills and experience within CRM execution, e-mail marketing and campaign management or digital campaign development
- Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Campaign
- Experience from working with campaign analytics in a digital media context (e.g. with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar)

- Senior and creative mindset - ability to see the whole picture and balance different perspectives and priorities
- Strong collaboration- and communication skills, a solid and open-minded team player with the ability to motivate and interact with different departments
- Structured and flexible problem-solver
- High degree of independence, professional integrity, personal drive and capability to take own initiatives and prioritize own work
